Assignment Overview
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a Central ER Float travel assignment supporting multiple hospitals within the same health system in Eastern North Carolina. This is a well-established float assignment with excellent feedback from current travelers.
Float & Location Details
- Central ER float between three hospitals within the same health system
- Nurses will work at only one facility per shift
- Assignment locations are in Tarboro, Washington, and Greenville, NC
- Housing Recommendation: Greenville, NC offers the most central location—approximately 30 minutes between facilities and close to major medical amenities
Position Details
- Specialty: RN – Emergency Department
- Trauma Requirement: Trauma Level I ED experience REQUIRED
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: April 27, 2026
- Charting System: Epic
- Pay Package: $2,400 per week (gross)

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
- Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
