Description

The Transplant Nurse provides perioperative care to patients receiving organs by means of transplant surgery. The Transplant Nurse is responsible for providing healthcare pre and post-surgery to living donor recipients.

Minimum Requirements:

Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of assignment
Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse certification may be required by state/contract
Three (3) years of surgical/pre & post op nursing experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
