Amergis is currently seeking experienced Oncology RNs for TRAVEL assignments in Manchester, NH !

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 wks

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 6/8

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: Days 40 hrs/wk (5x8s) available!

*Every other weekend, every other holiday

 

Setting/Day to day

• Hospital
• EMR: Epic
• The Clinical Nurse is an engaged and credentialed member of the Professional Nursing Organization and is responsible for autonomous practice directed by the professional tenets of practitioner leader/decision maker scientist and transferor. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide evidence-based care and to continuously monitor and evaluate practice to ensure safe passage of patients that is in the best interest of populations served. Utilizes the nursing process to assess diagnose identify outcomes plan implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patients status taking access to modify the plan of care or to elevate to the care team as necessary.

 

Requirements

• 2+ years of Oncology experience
• BLS, ONS 
•  Must have level 1 or 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years. 

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments.  In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments.  In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in state practicing
• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
