Position Overview
Emergency Room RNs are needed for a 13-week assignment working night shift, 7 PM–7:30 AM, supporting high-acuity emergency care across all age groups. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a 4:1 ratio. Auto-offer process applies.

Days: Weekdays & Weekends
Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Charting System: Epic
Interview: Auto offer
Shift Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
Staffing Ratio: 4:1
Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups
Perform rapid assessments and initiate evidence-based interventions
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Document all care accurately in Epic
Support patient stabilization, triage, and continuous monitoring
Float as needed within scope (Task RN)
Required Experience & Certifications
Minimum 2 years recent ED experience (within last 3 years)
Epic experience required
Active RN license (California)
Standard certifications required per ED scope

Additional Notes: Charting transitions from Cerner to Epic starting August. Kronos timecard photo required weekly.
Compensation
Travel RN – 36 Hours
Weekly Pay Package: $2,324/week Hourly Pay: $21/hr Meals Stipend: $518/week Housing Stipend: $924/week
Travel RN – 48 Hours
Weekly Pay Package: $3,066/week Hourly Pay: $29/hr Meals Stipend: $518/week Housing Stipend: $924/week
Local RN
Weekly Pay Package: $2,100/week Hourly Pay: $50/hr

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
- Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
