Position: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This position is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens equipment and be proficient in a variety of imaging procedures.

Job Details

• Shift: Day (5x8-Hour, 07:30 - 16:00)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Orientation Hours: 80
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Work Settings: Adult Outpatient
• Interdisciplinary Support: Radiology

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for a variety of diagnostic examinations.
• Execute imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest imaging.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement.
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media, adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure the safety of patients by implementing radiation safety practices.
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipunctures as necessary.
• Access ports for procedures requiring intravenous access.
• Float to different units as needed to support operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year in CT imaging is required.
• Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, and a valid state license are mandatory.
• Skills: Experience with Siemens equipment is required; familiarity with contrast administration and isolation precautions is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Image display and post-processing.
• Experience with various imaging studies, including:
• Abdomen without and/or with contrast
• Colorectal studies
• Enterography studies
• Pelvis without and/or with contrast
• Vascular CTA
• Ability to handle musculoskeletal trauma imaging and other specialized procedures.
