Position: Night Shift Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for the night shift. The position requires a valid New York State license and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients ranging from neonates to adults.

Job Details

• Shift: Night - 3 x 12 hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Contract Days: 56 days

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Managing high flow and mechanical ventilation.
• Performing arterial punctures and non-invasive ventilation techniques.
• Utilizing critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
• Adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State license (RRT required).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: Prior NICU experience is advantageous but not necessary.
• Skills: Strong critical care and critical thinking skills required.

Weekend Requirements

This position requires coverage for 2-3 nights on the weekends.
