Description
Position: CT Technologist
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 06:30)
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality image acquisition and patient safety. This role requires effective communication with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, as well as direct interaction with patients and their families.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT)
- Washington State License
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in teaching hospitals
- Experience in community hospitals
- Trauma Level II experience
- Local residency greater than 50 miles from the facility may be preferable
Key Skills
- Proficiency with PACS and Siemens equipment
- Ability to start peripheral IVs
- Prepare and administer contrast media
- Perform specialized procedures, including aspirations, biopsies, and drainage
- Experienced in brain perfusion and vascular CT angiography
Work Environment
The position will be located in a busy diagnostic imaging department, with an excellent team dynamic. The facility operates as a stroke center and provides imaging services to both emergency and inpatient patients.
Patient Population
This role will involve working with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with preferred experience in neonates, infants, and pediatrics.
