Position: CT Technologist

Location: City, State

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour

Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiology, particularly in CT imaging, and will care for a diverse patient population, including follow-up cancer diagnosis patients. Most of our patients are mobile.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as necessary for imaging procedures.
• Run point-of-care lab tests (I-stat) and post-process images for analysis.
• Ensure quality control of imaging equipment and maintain a safe and sterile work environment.
• Coordinate and assist with special procedures including brain perfusion, colonography, and vascular CTA.
• Utilize Epic for computerized charting and patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Certification: ARRT in Radiography (ARRT-R) and CT (ARRT-CT) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferably have a Fluoroscopy permit and experience with adult acute care settings.
• 1 year of relevant radiology experience is preferred.
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment is preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture and starting peripheral IVs.
• Ability to perform a variety of imaging procedures on different patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Experience with imaging extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Additional Information

This position requires flexibility and the ability to float between departments as needed. Weekend coverage will rotate on Saturdays. Scrubs are provided, and parking is free for staff.
