Position: CT Technologist

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Charting System:

Preferred experience with Epic.

Certifications:

• ARRT CT (preferred)
• BLS (required)

Required Skills:

• Image Display and Post Processing
• Isolation Precautions and PPE
• Management/lead experience
• Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Radiation Safety
• Starting Peripheral IVs and Venipuncture

Preferred Skills:

• 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• Region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Colorectal studies (rectal contrast)

Work Settings:

• Emergency Department
• ICU

Special Procedures:

• Aspirations
• Biopsies
• Brain perfusion
• CT arthrography
• Drainage
• Myelography

Patient Age Groups:

Patient Diagnoses:

All types of patients and diagnoses.

Special Unit Details:

Fast-paced outpatient and Emergency Department schedule.

Equipment:

• Siemens systems required
• PACS systems

Orientation:

16 hours of unit orientation will be provided, during which the traveler will gain experience operating the equipment under supervision.

Scrubs:

Royal Blue scrubs will be required, not provided.
