Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team in a dynamic medical environment. This position requires a qualified candidate with specialized skills in radiographic procedures.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Nights, Monday - Thursday, 9 PM - 7 AM
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Holiday Rotation: Yes
- Weekend Requirements: None
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-Ray examinations utilizing Siemens fixed equipment and Carestream portables.
- Provide fluoroscopy support in the operating room, specifically using GE OEC C-arms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating room procedures and equipment.
- Ensure accurate patient records using EPIC software.
- Work with a diverse patient population, including all age groups.
- Participate in a rotating holiday schedule, while maintaining a strong commitment to patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 24 months in X-Ray, with hospital or medical center experience prioritized.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Siemens fixed equipment.
- Experience with Carestream portables.
- Experience with GE OEC C-arms.
- Experience in surgery fluoroscopy.
- Proficient operating room experience.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Active Iowa radiology license (preferred, candidates in the licensing process will be considered).
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
- BLS certification from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) is required.
- References: Professional references preferred from direct supervisors within the last 24 months.
- Pediatric and Level I trauma experience: Highly preferred.
