Position: CT Technologist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in the CT department of a Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and possess both BLS and ARRT certifications, with an advanced ARRT certification preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a dynamic emergency room (ER) setting that handles emergent inpatient needs. Our facility is a Level I trauma center and is Stroke Accredited, serving a diverse patient community.

Shift Details

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend coverage required

Responsibilities

• Perform various CT procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion studies.
• Efficiently operate CT equipment to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed, responding promptly to emergent situations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications are required.
• AART Advanced certification is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
