Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical Specialty
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit. Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in patient care.
Shift Requirements
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
About the Unit
The Medical-Surgical Unit is a 28-bed facility that accommodates a diverse patient population. This includes patients undergoing general and vascular surgeries, bariatric procedures, plastic surgeries, trauma cases, and stroke-related care. The environment is fast-paced and offers excellent learning opportunities for both new and experienced nurses.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Expertise: Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized care plans, based on comprehensive assessments in alignment with patients' evolving needs and goals.
- Knowledge Advancement: Engage in lifelong learning through certifications, advanced education, and literature reviews to enhance clinical practice.
- Leadership: Exhibit leadership qualities by sharing knowledge, serving as a clinical resource, and acting as a professional role model.
- Effective Communication: Foster collegial relationships and maintain clear communication using frameworks such as SBAR.
- Productivity: Demonstrate excellent time management skills to contribute to team performance and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties consistent with job objectives as directed.
