Position: X-Ray Technologist

Shift Information

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
On-call Requirements: Weekday and weekend rotation
Weekend Requirements: Participation in the call schedule

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operating diagnostic imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Department Information

Equipment: Phillips Diagnostic, Carestream
Operating Room Equipment: Hologic breast machine, Philips portable machines, Siemens Cysto, GE OEC c-arms
Fluoroscopy Equipment: Toshiba
Average Daily Patient Scans: Approximately 100

Job Requirements

Active ARRT certification
Minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Iowa radiology license preferred (must apply for licensure upon acceptance if not already licensed)
Proficient experience with Phillips equipment is required
Experience with Carestream portable machines is preferred
Required proficiency in operating room procedures
Experience with GE OEC c-arms is required
Experience with Siemens Cysto is highly preferred
Fluoroscopy experience is required
First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet the experience requirement

Profile Requirements

Work history showing a minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience
Skills checklist specific to X-Ray discipline
Active Iowa license/IDPH State Permit is highly preferred
Professional reference from a supervisory figure within the last 24 months
Valid driver's license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Facility Location

Cedar Rapids, IA

Holiday Requirement

Contractors may be required to work 1-2 of the following Summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, unless the unit is closed.
