Description
Radiologic Technologist - CT/XR
Location: Decorah, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (minimum)
Shift: Primarily 1st Shift (Monday-Friday daytime hours), with possible occasional 2nd shift or weeknight call for urgent/emergent coverage
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
- Perform routine and emergency diagnostic procedures including surgery, general radiography, portable radiography, and computed tomography (CT).
- Complete related clerical and patient care duties as required.
- Participate in weekend on-call/coverage rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with time off around the weekend. No weeknight call unless urgent/emergent coverage is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist and X-Ray Technician
Additional Information
- This is a full-time contract position.
- Weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis.
- May be asked to work occasional 2nd shifts or weeknight call in urgent situations.
