Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technician in the Cardiovascular specialty to join our team. The role involves providing essential services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory, ensuring high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and angiography procedures.
• Assist in peripheral angioplasty procedures, with or without stent placements.
• Conduct venography and cardiac pacemaker insertions.
• Participate in a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures.

Shift Details

This position offers a 40-hour workweek guarantee with weekend requirements limited to call shifts. You will participate in one call shift per week and one weekend call shift monthly.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization (required).
• Experience in cardiac procedures (preferred).
• Interventional radiology (IR) experience (preferred).
• Certification as RCIS is preferred, though ARRT certification will be considered.

Certification Requirements

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Facility Overview

Located in Lansing, MI, the facility is a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds. It serves as a hub for advanced cardiac programs and offers state-of-the-art clinical centers, including oncology and women and children’s health.

Utilization of Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient patient care documentation.
