Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis. This position involves working day shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday, with variable scheduling and a commitment of 36 hours per week. Nurses will participate in holiday rotations and work every third weekend.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patient care related to dialysis.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for patient documentation.
• Administer blood transfusions and manage heparin as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of current experience in Dialysis required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment within the past 15 months is required.
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic medical systems.
• Experience with Fresenius dialysis equipment is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering blood transfusions and heparin.
• Active Iowa or compact nursing license at the time of submission.
• Current certification in BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Work Schedule

The RN will typically work three 12-hour shifts per week, with additional responsibilities during holidays and every third weekend. The schedule will primarily consist of day shifts.
