Position: Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Echocardiography to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires expertise in varied ultrasound modalities and is ideal for individuals looking to expand their clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30)
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Weekend Coverage: Yes, on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general, fetal, ob/gyn, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiographic studies.
• Assist in precepting and training of junior clinicians as needed.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety while conducting ultrasound procedures.
• Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system (Epic).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
• Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI or RDCS (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OB/GYN ultrasound during various trimesters, including amniotic fluid index assessments and fetal anatomical surveys.
• Knowledge in pediatric ultrasound examinations.
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Skills in conducting ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis and biopsies.

• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
• Total Staffed Beds: 49
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Interdisciplinary support from Radiology and various departments.
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
