Pediatric Acute RN - Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our pediatric acute care team for night shifts. The position offers the opportunity to support and care for children in a culturally rich community, serving a diverse population.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for patients' specific conditions and treatments.
• Work independently to complete assignments while adhering to physician orders, nursing policies, and hospital procedures.
• Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Must maintain current, valid certification in the following throughout employment:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Shift Information

1800 - 0630, 7 shifts per pay period. Holiday coverage may be required.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
