Job Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical for a travel position in Madison, WI. This role is integral to the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional clinical knowledge and skills in providing and managing care for patients.

Job Details:

Work Schedule: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Shift Notes: May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years prior experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
Completion of at least 1 travel contract.
Comfortable working with neuro patients and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Certification Requirements:

Basic Life Support (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

State License Requirements:

Must possess a valid Wisconsin nursing license. Compact nursing licenses are accepted.
