About the Facility

This facility is a JCAHO accredited health center serving a diverse community across a vast geographical area. Established in 1975, it features a bed capacity of 73 and provides a wide range of medical services including emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, and outpatient surgical procedures. Located in Northwestern Arizona, the facility serves the Native American tribes of the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute, alongside a mix of other cultural backgrounds among its employees.

Position Summary

This role entails providing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on both inpatient and outpatient bases in various medical fields such as Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT. The incumbent will operate diagnostic radiologic equipment and manage the processing of radiographic images.

Necessary Qualifications

Education

• Completion of radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the radiology field, specifically in CT.
• Expertise in operating teleradiology and fax equipment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT).
• Maintaining a current valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Holiday coverage is required.
