Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Adult)

Join a dedicated healthcare team and take the opportunity to work in the stunning outdoors of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit during the night shift.

Shift Information

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions and coordinate patient care effectively.
• Collaborate with a talented healthcare team to meet the diverse needs of patients.
• Ensure holistic care that addresses age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director, working closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required.
• Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
• Current RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association).
