Description
Department Overview
The Rehabilitation team evaluates and treats patients with injuries or conditions that have affected their self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence. Located in Albany, OR, at a Level 3 trauma center with 79 beds, we provide evaluations and treatments for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The acute inpatient role includes patient evaluation, treatment, and discharge recommendations for individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and activities of daily living (ADL) needs. In the outpatient setting, interventions include hand therapy, orthopedics, neuro rehabilitation, custom splinting, driving assessments, and ADL training.
Experience and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license is required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
Shift Information
The position is for daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with no weekend obligations. Holiday coverage will be required.
