Position: CT Tech

This is a full-time position for a CT Tech to work in a Level II Trauma Center located in a dynamic healthcare environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, working 8-hour shifts from 08:30 to 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring accuracy and quality of images.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for procedures.
• Utilize GE CT equipment including VCT 64Slice, HD750, and Frontier 64Slice in accordance with safety protocols.
• Participate in trauma imaging and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Document patient information and scan results using the Epic charting system.
• Support other imaging departments, including the Emergency Room and outpatient services, as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Certification through ARRT in CT and Radiography (ARRT R).
• Current state licensure in Washington.
• A minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with recent GE equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to work with trauma patients in both Level I and Level II settings.
• Proficiency in Stroke Protocols and efficient patient care processes.
• Experience with Phillips PACS is preferred.
• Flexibility to float between different departments as required.
• Strong critical thinking skills and accountability for decisions made in imaging protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics.
• Daily Patient Census: 150-200.
• Total Staffed Beds: 571 across both campuses.
• Scrub Color: Any color except for reddish orange.
• Parking: Cost covered by the facility.
