Position Overview

This role is for a Technologist specializing in the Cath Lab. The position involves working Monday through Friday, with five 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week. Additionally, the candidate will be required to take call one night each week and every third weekend from 7:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Floater position across all Des Moines campuses to like units.
• Be prepared to scrub independently and proficiently during procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties and demonstrate willingness to take call shifts.

Holiday Requirements

Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the following upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, unless the unit is closed during these periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Cath Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Active certification from ARRT, CCI, or RCIS is required.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is highly preferred.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology is preferred.
• Travel experience within the previous 18 months is required.
• Peripheral vascular experience is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Orientation Dates

Orientation will occur on the following dates: June 22, June 29, and July 6. Priority will be given to individuals available for June 22 and June 29.
