Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience and will be responsible for a variety of procedural and patient care responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Schedule

• Day Shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Qualifications

Applicants should have the following certifications and skills:

• Certifications (Preferred):
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• ARRT R (Radiography) or CCI RCIS (Registered Certified Interventional Specialist)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Skills (Preferred):
• Experienced in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures
• Proficient in Cardiac Implant Closure Device and Cardiac Stent Placement
• Ability to perform Diagnostic Catheterizations for Adults
• Experienced in IABP Placement/Removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Skilled in both Left and Right Heart Catheterization
• Knowledgeable in Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
• Familiar with Rotablader Atherectomy and Scrub Procedures
• Equipment setup and ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Room circulating experience while maintaining a sterile field
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and age-specific competency for Middle and Older Adults
