Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP Nurse)

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our busy obstetrics department, providing high-quality care for women and their newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
• Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs).
• Assist as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent, patient-centered care.
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.

About Our Unit:

This fast-paced environment focuses on caring for women and newborn infants following childbirth. You will play a critical role in guiding patients through the childbirth and postpartum journey within a team-oriented setting, emphasizing strong interdisciplinary collaboration. This unit operates within a Critical Access Hospital.

Requirements:

• Must be labor-trained.
• Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).

Shift Information:

• Night Shift: 1845–0700 (6:45 PM–7:00 AM).
• Holiday coverage is required.
