Position:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care

Shift Information:

12-hour Night Shifts: 36 hours or 48 hours per week. Will float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements:

Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed.

Unit Details:

• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2

Dress Code:

Personal scrubs of any color.

Orientation:

8 hours of non-billable orientation is required.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of current Critical Care experience - Required
• Willingness to float to PCU - Required
• Experience with Ventilation, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring - Required
• Meditech Expanse experience - Strongly preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
• Candidate must have their own vehicle - Firm requirement

Certification Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

State License Requirements:

The candidate must possess a valid RN license for Massachusetts, which must be in hand prior to application.
