Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Shift Details

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirements: On call only
On Call Requirements: 10-11 days of call per month required

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) will deliver high-quality nursing care through the effective utilization of the nursing process. This role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure the maintenance of professional nursing practice standards. The RN will perform functions in accordance with medical center policy, mission, and established standards as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Required Experience:
- Previous OR Circulating experience
- Experience in Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and General Surgery
Preferred Experience:
- Urology and Ophthalmic surgery experience
- Prior travel nursing experience

Certification Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Licensure

Active Michigan RN license is required at the time of application
