Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab setting within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Random day off during the week; holiday rotation required.
• Call schedule includes 1 night per week and every third weekend from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing various invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Monitor patients during procedures, preparing and managing equipment.
• Float across multiple locations in the region as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab required.
• Active ARRT certification is required.
• RCIS certification is preferred.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is highly preferred.
• Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology.
• Recent travel experience within the last 18 months is required.
• Proficient in both scrubbing and circulating roles within the Cath Lab.
• Willingness to take on-call assignments as scheduled.
• Monitoring experience is required.

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Skills Checklist specific to Cath Lab must be provided.
• References will be required from previous supervisors or managers within the last 24 months.

Certifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
