Description
We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. This position requires adaptability as nurses will float to various units, including medical/surgical, telemetry, progressive care, overflow units, and overflow PACU when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Licensure: Must hold an active California RN license.
- Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
- Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome with experience in a 400-bed or larger facility.
- Special Requirements: PA line experience is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- Hospital Experience: Experience in a large hospital is essential.
Job Details
- Shift: 1900-0730, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Weekend Requirements: Weekend shifts are required.
- Floating Requirements: This position is a float position between various units.
- Pending Licenses: Candidates must have an active license at the time of submission.
- Scheduling Requests: No scheduling requests can be accommodated during the first two weeks of assignment. A maximum of 7 days off is allowed.
