• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT(R))
• Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT))

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and X-ray equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic principles and the ability to provide patient care tailored to various age groups.

Essential Functions

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
• Exercise professional judgment in accordance with radiation protection principles.
• Maintain accurate patient records and files.
• Assume responsibility for the department's quality assurance program.
• Engage in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the transfer of patients to and from radiology.
• Maintain general hygiene of the department and self.
• Participate in rotating shifts as required.
• Carry out ancillary duties as requested by the supervisor.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in stressful situations.
• Be available to take call and report to work within a designated timeframe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a CT/XR training program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• ARRT certification in CT and XR is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.
