Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and the ability to cover Cardiovascular Care Unit (CCU) responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess Day 0 CVICU experience and have a passion for making a difference in the community by providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU and CCU.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient status and make necessary adjustments to care as needed.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.
- Engage in call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period as needed.
Shift Information
The position requires 12-hour night shifts, including rotation during weekends.
Note: Holiday coverage is also required.
Qualifications
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience.
- Valid Colorado RN license in good standing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of three years of critical care experience required.
