We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling various radiography equipment and possess the necessary operational skills to support a range of radiology services.

Shift Notes

• Tuesday - Friday: 12 PM - 10 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Holiday rotation with no weekend or on-call requirements
• Required to float across multiple locations when necessary

Unit Information

The ideal candidate will be proficient with:

• Siemens general radiography equipment
• Carestream portable units
• OEC C-arms
• Medtronic O-arm

The technologist must have operating room experience, specifically with C-arms and O-arms, and be capable of supporting all aspects of radiology, which include, but are not limited to:

• Plain film imaging
• Operating room exams
• Portable exams

Qualifications

• A minimum of 24 months of experience in X-Ray is required.
• Experience with Siemens fixed equipment is required.
• Experience with Carestream portables is required.
• Recent or current experience with GE OEC C-arms is highly preferred.
• Recent or current experience with Medtronic O-Arms is highly preferred.
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience is required.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Current or recent operating room experience is required.
• Experience with all age groups is preferred.
• Level II trauma experience is required; Level I trauma experience is preferred.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.
• Active Iowa radiology license is highly preferred; candidates with attestation to apply at the time of acceptance may also be considered.

Certification Requirements

• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
