Radiology Technologist Dual-Modality (XR/CT)

Position Summary

The Dual-modality Radiology Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality CT and X-Ray exams that assist in diagnosis and treatment. This role involves independently performing CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The position supports both outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT
• Active Radiologic Technologist Licensure in Montana
• Advanced certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in healthcare-related studies

Essential Job Functions

• Perform quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
• Operate with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs.
• Assist medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary.
• Perform ancillary duties related to the maintenance of proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
• Complete required documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams.

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. Flexibility for varied scheduling is required.

• Exposures: Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases.
