Radiation Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering radiation treatment to patients in an acute care setting. This role does not require call duties and offers a daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

Administer radiation treatments to patients according to prescribed plans.
Monitor patient reactions and provide support throughout treatment.
Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation using Epic.
Follow safety protocols and best practices while operating radiation equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
State and National Certification as a Radiation Therapist.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position involves a 5-day work week with 8-hour shifts, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
