Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff is conducted accurately, timely, and reliably. Our customers include employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a primary focus on activities that enhance customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Comply with all policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Demonstrate the ability to execute CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Exhibit adequate radiation safety practices related to both patients and coworkers.
• Participate in all radiology management system functions related to patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff to ensure efficient delivery of CT procedures.
• Abide by the service delivery standards of the Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology Department in all interactions with patients, visitors, employees, or other customers.
• Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

Education & Certifications:

Required Education: Associate’s degree in radiologic technology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registration
• ARRT(R)
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Languages:

English: Read, Write, Speak

Schedule Notes:

This position requires both X-Ray and CT skills (50/50 split). Candidates without CT Registry may be considered if they have over 1 year of experience. Shifts include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 11:30 PM (with overnight call), and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Common equipment used includes GE Revolution APEX and GE X-ray equipment.
