Job Summary
An opportunity is available for a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within an Electrophysiology Lab, focusing on various cardiac procedures.
Shift and Schedule
- Shift: 4x10 Days
- Typical Hours: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- Call Requirements: Participation in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend call every two months.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing specialized procedures, including Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, and Arrhythmia Induction.
- Conduct Conduction Studies and assist with Baseline Measurements.
- Facilitate the insertion and programming of AICDs and Pacemakers.
- Perform Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure.
- Provide patient education and support during various procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Proficiency in Epic and Electrophysiology Lab procedures is required.
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry. A high school diploma is required if the candidate's higher education degree is in another field.

- Engagement in various advanced cardiac care procedures.
- Focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and care throughout all procedures.
