Description

Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Description

Join a small, family-friendly pediatric unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for general pediatric patients. Our nurses may float to the NICU to care for feeder/growers as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Assist with IV starts and other procedures as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the team promptly.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
PALS certification is required.
Experience in IV starts and pediatric care preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Certifications

BLS certification is required.
PALS certification is required.
