Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist who embodies our "Friends Healing Friends" philosophy within the community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering individualized physical therapy programs, which include:

• Assessment of patients
• Treatment planning and implementation
• Patient education on therapy modalities
• Effective communication to maximize patient progress toward functional goals

The Physical Therapist will also collaborate with other health professionals and ancillary staff, maintaining positive working relationships. We encourage a reciprocal exchange of suggestions to enhance patient outcomes. This position primarily involves outpatient services (95%), with some responsibilities in Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Swing (5%). The therapist should be prepared to treat a wide range of patients that present for care.

This is a 13-week contract with a significant potential for extension.

Shift Information

Shifts will be from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
