We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care across all aspects of the L&D unit, including delivery, mother/baby care, postpartum support, nursery activities, and newborn resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, tailoring care based on age-related growth and development.
• Deliver safe and effective nursing practice to expectant mothers and newborns in a supportive environment.
• Perform clinical assessments and document care in accordance with established standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care for patients and families.
• Participate in patient education and support for mothers and their families during the perinatal period.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Experience in postpartum and mother/baby care is required.
• Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is necessary.
• AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a valid New Hampshire RN License or a Compact RN License.
• Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required.
• Must have a personal vehicle for travel as needed.

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week during day shifts. Candidates are required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations. Requests for time off must be noted upfront and cannot exceed five days.

Compliance

All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance, with proof submitted accordingly.
