CT Technologist - Massachusetts (Salem)

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, flexible between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM
• Work Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead.
• Assignment location requires experience with Siemens Naeotom Alpha Scanner.
• Rotating shifts may be required.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in CT scanning, IV and oral/GI contrast administration.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
• EMR documentation skills (Epic, Visage).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Professional and positive demeanor.

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ARRT (CT) certification.
• Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography.
• BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted).
• N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually).
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
• TB test screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test).
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.

Additional Required Credentials & Compliance

• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date.
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) attestation if fit test required.
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry.
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists.
• Verification of highest education level achieved.
• Social Security Number trace and address history for past 7 years.
• Submission of resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above).
• Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission.
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions.

Preferred (Optional) Credentials

• Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity or declination.
• Tdap vaccination within last 10 years.
• Positive PPD requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray.

This position is suitable for CT Technologists with Siemens Naeotom Alpha Scanner experience seeking a 13-week long-term assignment with flexible 12-hour day shifts in Massachusetts.
