CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: CT
• Location: 2nd floor, A tower
• Number of Beds: 800
• Staff per Shift:

  • Day Shift: 5 Technologists + Supervisor
  • Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
  • Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
• Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
• EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs

Required Skills and Experience

• Specialty: CT Imaging
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Must Have Skills:

  • All areas of CT Imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
  • Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging
• Preferred Skills:

  • GE equipment experience
  • Invasive CT
  • Cardiac imaging
  • Venipuncture

• Neuro imaging
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
• Body imaging
• Invasive CT procedures
• Cardiac imaging
• Pediatric imaging

Certifications

• ARRT (R) certification required

Work Environment and Schedule

• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Possible weekend shifts
• Possible rotation to other shifts
• Potential on-call: approximately 12 hours per month
