Travel RN Opportunity – Labor & Delivery
Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Facility Type: Hospital – Labor & Delivery Unit
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
- Contract Length: 12 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7 PM to 7 AM), no call during night shifts
- Schedule Requirements: Must be willing to work days or nights
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: 1 call shift every 2 weeks
- Floating: May be asked to assist in Women’s Center if willing
Unit Information
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (Unit 707)
- Beds: 7 labor beds plus 5 triage beds
- Staffing: 1 CNA per shift alongside RNs
- Patient Ratios: Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Patient Population: Labor & delivery, antepartum
- Documentation Systems: GE-CPN, Meditech
Requirements
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required)
- BLS
- NRP
- STABLE
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Dress Code
- Required uniform color: Pink/raspberry
This role is ideal for experienced Labor & Delivery RNs with required certifications looking for a 12-week travel assignment on night shift with a supportive team and structured scheduling.
