Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses (including med/surg).
• Must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the market (local travelers not accepted).
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited to 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN Pediatrics experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Preferred 2-3 years of experience.
• Experience with Peds-Vapotherm required.
• Ratio 1:3 patient assignment.
• Float to med/surg required.

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP
• PALS (AHA)

Licensing

• Iowa RN license required.
• Compact license allowed.

• EMR system: EPIC
• Night shift differential and holiday multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Billable overtime after 36-40 hours/week.
