Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry
Contract Details
- Length: 7 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Start Date: January 12 only
- Orientation: Biweekly
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license required
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam (85% passing score, one attempt only)
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- ACLS AHA Certification required
- Knowledge of Critical Paths
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination required during compliance
- Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests administered via Zoom prior to assignment
- Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer; no retakes allowed
- Nurses will be expected to float to like units and overflow areas
- Professional developmental activities must be documented
- All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be submitted at time of application
