Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Beaumont, Texas
Employment Type: Travel (Full Time)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing occupational therapy care for patients. This role requires adherence to all Occupational Therapy Practice Act standards while providing technical therapy care, supplies, equipment, and interventions to a designated patient population.

Patient Population

• Mostly adult and geriatric patients
• Includes trauma, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and general medical/surgical cases
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize and supervise volunteers, students, support staff, and assistants in delivering occupational therapy services
• Interpret and implement physician orders
• Provide safe care and protect confidential information
• Maintain professional communication and efficient use of time and resources
• Foster a positive work and therapy environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid OT License in Texas
• BLS Certification (AHA only)

Work Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible)
