- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 52
- Staffing per Shift:
- Day and Night Shift each have:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 4 Nurses
- 1 Tech
- 1 Unit Clerk
- 1 Physician
- 1 Midlevel Provider
- Patient Ratios:
- Average 3:1
- Low acuity 5:1
- Pediatrics team nursing
- Equipment: Alaris infusion pumps
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- NIH Certification
- Experience in travel nursing or working in large facility emergency departments
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous work in a 52-bed or larger emergency room

- IV starts
- Medication administration
- Sedations
- Pediatric care
