Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract)

Job Description

Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 4 labs handling approximately 15-23 cases per day.
Patient population: Adults only, inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services.
Technologies and equipment used: EPIC charting, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Zoll defibrillator, Phillips Fluoro machine, Merge Hemodynamics, Datascope IABP.
Orientation: Up to 1 week of unit orientation provided.
Procedural scrubs provided.
Free parking on site.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
Associate's degree.
Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
State license (IEMA).
ARRT or RTR certification.
Previous EPIC experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS certification (CCI).
Previous EPIC Cupid experience.

Required Skills

Aseptic technique knowledge.
Sheath pulling.
TR band placement and removal.
Line securement.
EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Experience with IABP and Impella devices.
