CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Richmond, Virginia

Position Details

Specialty: CT Tech
Location: Richmond, VA
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: CT
Number of Scanners: 2 (GE and Phillips)
Staffing:
- 7 Full-Time
- 3 PRN
Shifts When Fully Staffed:
- Day Shift: 3 techs
- Evening Shift: 2 techs
- Night Shift: 1 tech
- Weekend Shift: 2 techs (12-hour shifts)
Patient Volume: 80-100 scans per day
Equipment: GE & Phillips CT scanners
EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Required Qualifications

Licenses: Virginia State Radiology Tech License (MUST HAVE)
Certifications:
- ARRT-CT
- BLS
Experience:
- Current CT experience
- CT registry required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GE or Phillips CT scanners

Typical Procedures

Abdominal/Pelvic scans
Biopsies
Head, Spine, Brain imaging
Chest scans
CT Angiographies (CTA’s)

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Navy scrubs

- Weekends and 24-hour call required

This role is ideal for a CT Tech with current Virginia licensure and ARRT-CT certification, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of scans and multiple shifts.
