Travel RN - Stepdown PCU (Plano, TX)
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit & Shift Details
- Unit: PCU Telemetry, 7th Floor
- Shift: Weekend, every other weekend
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Call Requirements: Yes
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in PCU/Stepdown (higher of 1 or 2 years is 2 years)
- Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Certifications required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
- PCU/Stepdown experience preferred
Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
- Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; hair shoulder length or longer must be pulled back when working in the lab
- Facial hair: Must be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
- Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings
