Travel RN - Stepdown PCU (Plano, TX)

Unit & Shift Details

• Unit: PCU Telemetry, 7th Floor
• Shift: Weekend, every other weekend
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in PCU/Stepdown (higher of 1 or 2 years is 2 years)
• Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Certifications required:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH Certification

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• PCU/Stepdown experience preferred

Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; hair shoulder length or longer must be pulled back when working in the lab
• Facial hair: Must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings
